Red File Meeting

So 2 days ago Diana called me and told me that something "very unusual" has happened. We had been scheduled to be included on a Red File meeting for 2 sibling boys (2 & 3 years old). She called to tell me that another case manager pulled our file requesting us to be included on a Red File for a little girl. This is unusual because families are not generally picked for more than 1 Red File meeting at a time. We were told that after getting the information on the little girl, we'd have to decide who felt like a better match for our family - the boys or the girl. After much deliberation, we decided to be included in the Red File Meeting for the little girl. So...October 4 sometime in the evening, we're hoping to get a call with some good news! If not, we know that there are more kids to be adopted, and so far the process has seemed pretty fast, so it's only a matter of time. . .
